Kiosk substation from 160KVA up to 7500KVA

Kiosk substations are designed, manufactured and tested up to 3500kVA/22kV by QUANG ANH.
Kiosk substation includes substation enclosure containing the distribution transformers, mediumvoltage (MV) switchgear, low-voltage (LV) switchgear, measurement system, cables and accessories to ensure the safe energy supply; such as: Siemens, ABB, General Electric (GE), Schneider, LS

Enclosure


+ It is typical design include three compartments: MV compartment, transformer compartment, LV compartment.
+ Enclosure includes the parts are jointly associated by bolts, to ensure the certainty and removable.
+ Enclosure is coated by light grey powder painting.
+ Enclosure ensures the waterproof when installed outdoor.
+ Degree of protection of the enclosure achieves IP23D in accordance with IEC 60529 standard..

Base frame

+ It is load-bearing for supporting all materials and equipments of the substation. It is made of shape steel or steel plate with
its minimum thickness of 3 ÷ 4mm depending on each specific case, they all are welded to one block

+ Four lifting hooks are associated with base frame by bolts certainly, to ensure the lift force bearing of the entire transformer
substation when loading. Lifting hooks can be removable to improve the convenience and aesthetics.
+ Base frame is pre-designed to join bolts to locate the substation into the foundation.
+ There are three points earthing locations in base frame, they are arranged in the MV compartment, transformer compartment, LV compartment. The earthing location by Inox304 M12 bolts is welded to the base frame to ensure the good conduct.

Substation body

+ Substation body includes the surrounding plates, substation doors, partition, LV panel. Associated with the base frame by bolts to ensure certainty and form the firm frame, supporting its self.

+ Substation doors is made of steel plate of 2mm thick, designed to assemble from the inside and non-removable from the outside, achieve IP23D, ensure the closure and watertight.
+ Partitions are made of the steel plate of 2mm thick.
+ Substation body is made of steel plate, powder painting of outdoor type both inside and outside

Roof

+ It is made of steel plate of 2mm thick, powder painting of outdoor type both inside and outside.
+ Roof is divided into three respective parts to three compartments: roof for MV compartment, roof for transformer compartment and roof for LV compartment.
+ Removable.
+ Minimum slope is 2% to ensure not water stagnant on roof.

Ventilation system

+ Natural ventilation system of the substation is designed to ensure the life time for equipments in the substation in the condition of normal operation.
+ Ventilation system includes ventilation for body part and roof as well. Ventilation for body part is made galvanized steel of 2mm
thick, powder painting substation body to avoid the iron rust, and ensure the aesthetics.

+ Class of enclosure: class20, the substation is also designed to achieve the class of enclosure: class5, class10, class15
depending on the customer’s request.
+ Ventilation for roof aims at ensuring the better natural convection air.

Cable cellars

Cable cellars are pre-arranged in the foundation of substation for facilitating construction of underground cable in and out from the substation.

Connecting cable in MV side: MV
underground cable is 24kV copper wire to link from transformer to MV switchgear.

+ Connector in MV side: Connector of exposure MV cable to be supplied depending on the customer’s request.
+ LV panel is connect to transformer: By cable/ copper busbar, cosse connector with the appropriate size with the transformer’s
capacity.
+ Mechanical impact test: 20J

Selecting the equipment for installation in kiosk substation is the important matter affecting the quality of substation.
When putting into installation, each equipment must be demonstrated its origin and achieve the type-test as specified for such equipment

+ Using MV underground cable 24kV to connect to transformer through MV panel byconnector of MV underground in elbow type
or straight type.
+ LV cable or copper busbar connected from transformer through LV panel.
+ Supplying the connector of in-exposure underground cable if requested by customer.
